Meet Izzy's Pizza
Brett Geiger's Izzy's Pizza in Omaha, Nebraska was a food truck until last year. Izzy's specializes in Detroit-style pizza, and also pizza and sides like garlic knots. In late 2024, they opened a small brick-and-mortar location, and they've been growing and building ever since.

The challenge: Deliver to more customers across Omaha
Pizza is the perfect delivery-friendly food, and Izzy's wanted to take advantage of potential delivery options. This was especially important given their location in Omaha, where the cold weather can keep customers at home for a big chunk of the year.
Izzy's was also still operating out of a small space, and they didn't have any extra room for a huge team of drivers. They also didn't want to worry about complicated platforms or switching away Toast, their POS system.
The solution: A network of drivers and easy POS integration
All of these challenges brought Izzy's to DoorDash. The Dasher network and easy POS integration options gave Izzy’s a simple way to offer delivery without needing extra staff. Now Izzy's uses Toast, a preferred DoorDash Integration alongside online ordering to ensure they can offer customers seamless delivery – with no extra burden to their team.

"It was kind of a pain for us dealing with two screens in the past. Now we have a POS that integrates everything together, uses our stock quantities, and draws from the inventory that we have set up in there, so it's really nice having it all in one place. It's a quick and sweet solution."
The results: A big sales boost and steady revenue
For businesses in Nebraska like Izzy's Pizza, revenue can change with the weather. When it's really too cold for customers to venture outdoors, DoorDash helps Izzy’s to bring in revenue they wouldn't otherwise — and a bigger sales lift than expected.

"I would say that on any given day, 15 to 40% of our sales could be DoorDash sales, depending on the weather. [...] Now we can say, 'available on DoorDash' on the website and people know that they can get it, even if they can't come out."
